- I used to hide under the table when guests arrived. Always. And I stayed there as long as possible. I would look at their shoes. And I would tie the laces of one person to the laces of another. They had to walk together.

I think I'm still that person.

Sophie Monseu Gonzalez is a stylist and art director originally from Belgium and Spain. Currently residing in Madrid, Sophie graduated in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Brussels and a master's degree in human rights from Valencia. She interned for the lovely organization Fashion Act Now based in London.

 

After completing her studies, Sophie is returning to the world of visual creation and activism for an ecological transition in the textile industry. Exploring various aspects of the material-human/non-human-nature bond, she enrolled in a costume design program, a visual anthropology course, and a journalism program.

 

Thriving in a dynamic artistic and activist environment, she now focuses on art direction, writing, and styling, honing her eye and skills as a creative, and advocating for the enlightenment of regenerative and collective practices and innovation at the core.
